Babi Yar massacre
29 Sept 1941 – 30 Sept 1941 · Babi Yar ravine, Kyiv
In two days, Einsatzgruppe C and German police units, assisted by local auxiliaries, shot 33,771 Jews from Kyiv in the Babi Yar ravine. The site was used for further mass executions of Jews, Roma, Soviet prisoners of war and others throughout the occupation.
