Yalta Conference

4 Feb 1945 – 11 Feb 1945 · Livadia Palace, Yalta (Crimea)

Roosevelt, Churchill and Stalin agreed on the occupation of Germany in zones, the founding conference of the United Nations, and Soviet entry into the war against Japan. They accepted the Curzon Line as Poland's eastern border and the reorganisation of the Soviet-backed provisional government — decisions taken without the Polish government in exile.
